BOLD Board Connections

Cincinnati Boychoir

Help boys to develop as outstanding artists and leaders.  The Cincinnati Boychoir presents approximately twenty annual performances in the greater Cincinnati region, and have performed concerts and completed residencies both at home and abroad. Their mission is to enhance and deepen creative expression, community engagement, and cultural appreciation through the vocal arts for boys in grades 3-12. Now seeking board members interested in fundraising, PR, and marketing.

Gorman Heritage Farm

Looking for a way to focus on education regarding sustainability, nutrition, and the environment?  The Gorman Heritage Farm has made this its mission!  This Board is now expanding, and currently has interest in the following skills and interests:  education, development, nutrition, and agriculture. This organization provides school field trips, pre-school story hours, an emphasis on conservation, and much more.

Bring your compassion and skills to shelter, rescue, and save animals at Cincinnati Animal Care.
This board needs real estate, legal, construction, and special events skills. This no-kill shelter has dramatically improved outcomes for Hamilton County animals and is poised to do much more. Help to build that future!Cincinnati Animal Care

School for School Boards

Be a better education advocate and join a diverse group of other advocates to help build school boards where every child can thrive. If you have passion regarding education and a willingness to build networks, School for School Boards is in need of leaders. This organization is focused on systemic change in schools by providing all kinds of education, tools, and support.

Edge Teen Center

Teens need support to grow and thrive – and they find it through Edge. Edge is one of the largest exclusively teen after school programs in Ohio and is focused on a mission to empower teens to impact the world.  Through its centers and programs, teens in grades 9-12 grow personally, socially, and academically. The current need is to increase board diversity. Community members from northern Cincinnati and/or Butler County are especially encouraged to consider this organization.

CASA for Clermont Kids

Be an advocate for children who need safe homes. CASA for Clermont Kids has a mission to recruit and manage Court Appointed Special Advocates.  It’s all about ensuring effective, sustained advocacy and safe, permanent, loving homes for neglected, abused, dependent children within the Clermont County Juvenile Court.  CASA has a small board which is critical to the organization’s success. CASA currently seek board help with accounting, budgeting, and financial management.
